The Muskies are Already Making News!

The team doesn't fly to Europe until Saturday, but the tour is already making news in Luxembourg. Friday's edition of the Luxemburger Wort, Luxembourg's most popular newspaper, included a story previewing our visit. You can read the story online here. Thanks to Kevin Wester, executive director of the Luxembourg American Cultural Society and the leader of our tour, for helping get us that media coverage. Kevin tells us that the newspaper is read by about 85 percent of the country, and that the newspaper's website is the most popular English language e-news service in Luxembourg.

Women's trip: The Lakeland women's basketball team left Thursday for 17 days in China! The ladies will be playing a few games, and they'll be studying Chinese culture and language as part of a three-credit May term course. Women's head coach Lindsey Vande Hoef is blogging during their trip - you can catch her blog here.
